New Client

Welcome to Dalton Wellness.

We take a comprehensive, personalized approach to your health. Whether you're managing pain, recovering from an injury, training for performance, or just trying to feel better in your body — we're here to help you optimize it.

Our model is simple. One-on-one care. One full hour. Fewer total visits. Every client gets a focused plan built around their goals and their body, delivered in a private, clean, and friendly environment.

If this is your first visit, here's everything you need to know.

How It Works · 01

Four steps from first call to first visit.

No insurance hoops, no referral required, no surprise paperwork. Here's exactly what happens between scheduling and walking in the door.

Step 01

Book a Time

Schedule an evaluation online or call us. If you're not sure which service you need, reach out — we'll point you in the right direction.

Step 02

Complete Intake

We'll email intake paperwork as soon as you book. Fill it out in advance so your first visit goes to the actual work, not the forms.

Step 03

Your First Visit

A comprehensive one-on-one assessment to understand your goals, history, and what's really going on. Then we get to work the same day — not next week.

Step 04

Your Plan of Care

You'll leave with a personalized plan and clear next steps. We track progress every session so improvement is measured, not just felt.

What to wear: Loose-fitting clothing or gym attire works best — shorts, tights, leggings, or a sports bra. Anything that lets us access the areas we'll be working on.
Payment & Insurance

A fee-for-service practice — with a clear path to reimbursement.

Dalton Wellness is a fee-for-service practice. We don't bill insurance directly. Clients pay at the time of service and we provide a detailed superbill you can submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement.

Most clients with out-of-network benefits do receive reimbursement, though we can't guarantee it — that's between you and your insurer.

We accept FSA and HSA payments, cash, checks, and credit cards. Physical therapy and many of our services are qualified FSA/HSA expenses.

Why fee-for-service? Because insurance-based PT clinics survive on volume — with most patients managed by aides between brief check-ins. Our model is the opposite. You see your therapist. The full hour, every visit. Most clients finish their plan of care in fewer total visits than at a typical clinic, and the experience is fundamentally different.

Frequently Asked

Common questions.

Do I need a doctor's referral?
No. Texas is a direct-access state — you can see a licensed physical therapist without a referral. You can be evaluated and treated for 10 consecutive business days without one. If you need care beyond that window, you'll need a physician's referral to continue. Skipping the referral step often means starting your recovery faster.
How long is a typical first visit?
First visits are typically 60 minutes. We use that time for a comprehensive one-on-one assessment, walk you through your plan of care, and start treatment the same day when appropriate. You leave your first visit having done real work — not just paperwork.
What treatments might I receive?
Treatment is built around your specific needs, but commonly includes hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic and corrective exercise, soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, Neubie neuromuscular stimulation, Winback TECAR therapy, IASTM, cupping, kinesio taping, and Normatec compression. We choose the right combination for your case — not a one-size-fits-all protocol.
Do you accept insurance or FSA/HSA?
We don't bill insurance directly — we're a fee-for-service practice. We provide a detailed superbill you can submit to your insurer for out-of-network reimbursement. We do accept FSA and HSA payments, cash, checks, and credit cards.
How does the Neubie work?
The Neubie is a patented, FDA-cleared electrical stimulation device. It treats pain, increases blood flow and range of motion, reduces muscle spasms, and supports neuromuscular re-education. What makes it different from traditional e-stim is that it uses direct current instead of alternating current — which produces a fundamentally different (and far more effective) effect on the nervous system.
How does TECAR Therapy work?
Winback TECAR Therapy uses high-frequency radiofrequency current to generate deep, endogenous heat inside the tissue itself — muscles, tendons, ligaments, even bone. Unlike surface heat from a hot pack, this heat is created from within the body, dramatically accelerating circulation, tissue repair, and pain relief. It's used widely in elite sports medicine and is highly effective for chronic pain, post-surgical recovery, tendinopathy, and stubborn injuries that haven't responded to other treatments.
What if I'm not sure which service I need?
Reach out and we'll help you figure it out. As a general rule: if you're experiencing pain or recent injury, start with Physical Therapy. If you've been cleared or you're working on performance, exercise physiology may be the right fit. If you just need maintenance or recovery, a Recovery Visit is the simplest entry point. We route you to the right team.
Why patients choose us

Better outcomes. Fewer visits. A real plan, not a punch card.

Most insurance-based PT clinics survive on volume — aides doing the work, plans that stretch into 20+ visits, and a therapist you might see for 15 minutes if you're lucky.

That's not us. Every visit is one-on-one with your provider for the full hour. Sessions are productive enough that most clients finish their plan of care in a fraction of the typical visit count — and don't have to come back for the same problem six months later.

That's the model: better outcomes, fewer visits, more time for everything else in your life.
